      Will NOT fit old chrome base Mark 1 magazines.

      These can get shot into another dimension when disassembling a magazine.

        I don’t care how careful you are one day when cleaning or upgrading the pads of your Ruger Magazines the spring and this retaining plunger will go flying across the room and invariably will get lost some how. having a couple of theses around will be a lifesaver.
