Ruger front sight screw ALLEN HEAD *6-40* for PRE-OCT-2019 Ruger Mark 1 2 3 4 IV & All 22/45 (Except LITE) Pistols

This is the newer Allen Driver type screw (6-40) for Front sights used on Mark Series Bull barrels.
It is slightly longer than the old Flat Blade Screw
These use 5/64″ Allen Driver.

In October 2019 Ruger changed front sight screw size in all of the steel Mark Pistol barrels to 6-48.

PAY ATTENTION!!!!!!
Any aftermarket front sight coming with a screw MAY NOT be the right screw for your pistol.

***IF YOU HAVE A “LITE” (ALUMINUM) DO NOT USE THIS SCREW!***
The Ruger LITE currently uses a special longer front sight screw (6-40) because the upper is aluminum and these shorter screws could easily strip the threads out of the upper.
