Description
This is the newer 6-48 Allen Driver type screw for Front sights used on POST October 2019 Mark IV Bull barrels. These use 5/64″ Allen Driver.
In October 2019 Ruger changed front sight screw size in all of the steel Mark Pistol barrels to 6-48.
PAY ATTENTION!!!!!!
Any aftermarket front sight coming with a screw MAY NOT be the right screw for your pistol.
***IF YOU HAVE A “LITE” (ALUMINUM) DO NOT USE THIS SCREW!***
The Ruger LITE currently uses a special longer front sight screw (6-40) because the upper is aluminum and these shorter screws could easily strip the threads out of the upper.
